it's raining men

Hallelujah.

Yup, the backpacker saga is back after an extended absence. Taken from your screens due to an entire island without computers. And also a rather unforunate (and costly) accident with the digital camera - when your producer/director/creative genius, and his trusted assistant, were caught unawares at the top of a volcano whilst the heavens opened and more rain than I've ever seen in my life fell in the space of an hour. Yes, the camera got wet and is no more. Full story beneath in Ms Love's post.

3 days back in Bali to prepare for the next island assult - Lombok - and also purchase another camera. Once again, great bargaining managing to get the camera shop guy to knock a whopping 1.8% off the asking price. 1-0 to the locals again.

Anyway, this morning Ms Love managed to earn herself enough girlfriend points to last into the next millenium by spotting a sign outside a bar.

'10pm Crystal Palace v Norwich'

The magic words. And we didn't even realise till then it was showing. Selhurst Park comes to Bali. It's stand up and be counted time now. Lose tonight and it's practically all over.

Forthcoming elections? Well, we've applied for postal votes and hopefully we'll get them in time to help ensure that AJ wins the Player of the Year.

Happy birthday to Jamie, Claire, Samantha, Bake, Gavin, Jeroen and anyone else who may have been forgotten.

Till the next time.
