out in outer mongolia
well, the good news is that we made it through russian customs. 6 hours of waiting on a train and eventually all the paperwork was complete and we could proceed to mongolia.
the other good news is that we have discovered the video function on the digital camera. just as soon as we can figure out how to post video to the site, you'll all be able to share our secretly filmed video of the russian border, complete with comedy commentary by yours truly.
but that's for later. firstly we disappear of into the mongolian countryside for 9 days. no email, no electricity, only mutton. so no updates for a little while.

once you've worked out how to upload the vid successfully, let me know how it's done.
PS - note to Ms Love's aunt - hangover just about cleared, and I have it on good authority that i was a poor third to vicky and chris on the brahms and liszt stakes (that's one you forgot to mention in your speech, pete)
